About our home

Our architect designed home is bright and colourful, reflecting the local neighbourhood. A short walk from Shoreditch, Victoria Park and all the trendy weekend markets, it is ideally located to make the most of a visit to London.

Bethnal Green is multi-cultural, with a welcoming, upbeat vibe and plenty of cafés, bars, restaurants, galleries, theatres and cinemas. The Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, Aquatic Centre, London Fields Lido and Regents Canal are within easy reach. Also, many small parks and playgrounds. Supermarkets, fruit and vegetable markets and other amenities are on the doorstep.

Our house would ideally suit maximum four people, for example a family with 2 children, or three adults (although the sofa in the den would comfortably sleep 1 person for a short stay).

There are 3 bedrooms. There is a 1.2m wide bed in each of the children's bedrooms. The third bedroom is on a mezzanine overlooking the living/kitchen/dining area. This bedroom has a glass door leading out onto the roof terrace. The kitchen, bathroom (with WC) and second bedroom are on the first floor. The first bedroom, the den (TV, DVD player, hi-fi... ) and utility room (with WC) are on the ground floor. The park across the road acts as a garden.

Public transport is very convenient: major bus lines, Central line tube (approx 200m to Bethnal Green underground station), and hire bikes (Santander). We are 15mins walk from Liverpool St station (Spitalfields). You won't need a car, but Zip Car short term hire cars are available nearby. For a day trip to the sea, Brighton or Whitstable are 1hr by train.

Our small dog will stay with friends while we are away.
We love living in London and take care of our house, as we would any property we stay in.
