This new two-bedroom penthouse is situated on the top two floors of the building. It provides light and spacious accommodation on the top floor, featuring floor to ceiling windows with views over London and a very well-equipped kitchen. The lower floor features two spacious and light bedrooms, two bathrooms and leads to a big and sunny communal roof patio.
The development offers a high standard finish and a secure entry system with lift access to all floors. The apartment is very comfortable, with underfloor heating, luxurious shower and bath, goose down duvets & pillows and elegant furnishings. It also includes fast wi-fi, miele oven and microwave, new five pit gas hob, large fridge and freezer, washing machine / dryer combo and a garment / fabric steamer.
I love cooking so you can be sure that the kitchen is fully functional and well supplied. I own a large range of appliances that will allow you to cook most things. There is also a vast selection of dvds, both English and foreign, if you fancy a night in. Also the bookshelf is very well stocked, so there's never a dull moment, even at home!
The east/central location is very convenient. The nearest tube station is 5 minutes away and there are several busses that stop just at the end of the street, making it very easy to reach other parts of London. It is also very near transport hub Liverpool Street, which features various tube and bus connections, rail transport to the rest of the UK and direct trains and shuttle busses to Stansted and South End airports.
The apartment is in trendy East London with its countless café's, shops and markets at daytime and bars and nightlife in the evenings. Across the street is the Whitechapel Gallery, which is infamous for its contemporary art exhibitions, but also features a great art book shop and a nice and cosy café. Brick Lane, Spitalfields Market and other Shoreditch locations are just a 10 minute walk away. They are home to various design and vintage shops, food stalls, café's, restaurants and bars and nightlife in the evenings. The best restaurants in the area, the Michelin-starred St John Bread and Wine or the best curry in London at Tayyabs, are only a 5 - 10 minute walk away. The amazing Columbia Road flower market or the trendy Broadway Market with its fresh produce and food stalls are within a 10 minute bike-ride or 25 minute walking distance.
There is a small park around the corner, but more green space can be found in the nearby Victoria Park or Wapping. There is a big supermarket at the end of the street, just a few steps away from the front door. Fresh food can also be purchased in a few other, big supermarkets within 10 minutes walking distance, or on the Whitechapel Road market.
