About our home

Madia Vale is famous for its stunning Mansion Blocks - the neighbourhood is home to the BBC recording studios and borders little Venice. There are beautiful canal walks and access to atmospheric local bars and restaurants. The tube station "Warwick Avenue" is a five minute walk away along tree lined streets. Warwick Avenue is less then 15 minutes tube ride to Piccadilly Circus and the West End - theatre land.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Cool bars
The Truscott Arms - great food. The Bridge House, theatre pub in little venice up the road
Retail therapy
Westfield Shopping centre a bus ride away (10 min in a car). Oxford Street a few stops on the tube
Bit of culture
Natural History and Victoria and Albert museum are on direct bus route from here to South Ken. Or a few stops on the Tube to Trafalgar Square to the National Portrait Gallery
Walks in the park
The canal up the road, lovely walk to Camden (about 90 min) to the buzzing market. If your really in the mood for a walk go all the way to Limehouse Basin - fantastic off the beaten track, but takes 4 hours. Paddington Green is around the corner and Hyde Park / Kensington is 15 minute walk away.
Spot of exercise
There are tennis courts out the back and I think you could get a day pass. There is a Nuffield gym up the road or you could go to the Harbour Club - of which I am a member, again I am sure they do day passes
Day tripping
I would strongly recommend that you do the walk along the canal all the way to Limehouse, you really see a different side of London.
