About our home

NOTE; I am especially seeking a buzzy beach resort for JULY anywhere. I have lots of SWAP POINTS to spend so YOU could earn points for yourself for spending anywhere with a POINTS stay by ME in your place.

GENERAL

MY quiet flat in Maida Hill is a second floor flat on a non-traffic through road. It is a walk or short hop on a bus away from famous cosmopolitan Notting Hill but only a short walk to its key attraction of Portobello Market, and not far from all the Museums in Kensington, and several London parks.

It has a king size double bed in bedroom adjacent to a modest sized lounge with large HD TV. and blu ray dvd player. The kitchen and bathroom are compact with all basic facilities with adjacent washing machine etc. Wifi available.

Super chimney-top views from a small roof terrace with sight of the famous Wembley Stadium Arch when lit up in the distance. Nice for for sitting out in the evening sun or if you smoke a ciggy.

The outside entrance door to the building is shared by one other flat used only by a couple. It is a bloke's place so girls do not expect perfection.

My place suits a couple but can sleep four adults. Not really suitable for toddlers or boisterous kids. It is convenient for travel within central London and a 15 minute walk away from the famous bookshop in Notting Hill area featured in the film.

The area has a share of London's colourful characters in the streets, especially at Notting Hill Carnival time as only a few minutes from the route. The area is safe and well policed. There are some trendy pubs nearby, convenient shops and excellent bus and tube links. Bus 31 to trendy rock & goth Camden Lock Market, 328 to Kensington shops, 18 towards KX/Int St Pancras stations, and Westbourne Park tube on the Hammersmith-City-Circle line is only 5 minutes walk away.
