About our home

We'd love to swap homes some time in Jan/Feb 2014 and are up for anything from 1 week to 1 month.

Visitors never fail to comment on how wonderfully cosy and unique our home feels. My family are artists and their paintings adorn the walls and furniture. Breakfast in the light of the bay window in the recently renovated kitchen is a lovely way to start the day and In the evening the fairy lights along the mantlepiece help create a relaxing and romantic feel in the living room.

We have a toddler which means the house is completely set up for children, complete with cot, high chairs, plenty of toys and even a spare buggy! As well as a room with a cot in it, there is a large double bedroom, a single bedroom and an extremely comfortable double sofa bed in the living room (the doors between the two living rooms can be shut to create a separate bedroom if needed).

From the house you can explore the grand green spaces of Greenwich by bus in 20 minutes, buy breakfast in the famous Borough Market on Thursday-Saturday mornings or catch the new overground to trendy Shoreditch/Dalston (although they say Peckham is the new Dalston!), go shopping in Highbury and Islington or visit the countless bars and restaurants in Clapham.

From our home, London is your oyster! But wherever you end up, you'll always be happy when you come back home to put your feet up and relax at the end of your day.
