About our home

Our home was recently remodeled with beautiful utilitarianism in mind. It flows wonderfully and can accommodate many adults and children without being on top of one another. It is spacious, comfortable and designed to make you smile. There are four permanent bedrooms: one king, ones queen, one double and one bunk bed room. There is another room that can be fitting with mattresses if need be. A large garden to enjoy and a roof terrace for the last of the afternoon sun. Lots of books, games and DVDs as well as a kitchen designed for lots of enjoyable meal prep. We are a 20min walk from the Thames , a 7 min walk from Turnham Green and Chiswick Park tube stations (district line) and a 2 minute walk from South Acton tube station. There are three adult bikes, two fitted with kid seats and a boy's bike too. It's easy to get into the west end and a swift drive into the countryside on the M4.

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
High road house, The Duke of Sussex
Cozy cafés
Artisan coffee, Gails
Retail therapy
Whistles on the high road, otherwise jump on the 94 bus and head to Westfield for a mall experience or Westbourne Grove in Notting Hill for London strip shopping.
Bit of culture
The V&A is a must and it is next to the spectacular Natural History Museum and Science Museums, both hits with the kids. Or catch the tube to embankment, walk across the millennium bridge and head to Tate modern.
Walks in the park
Chiswick House and gardens is magical, as is a walk along the Thames. If you're feeling fit and keen plan a day put to Bishops Park, Fulham (ideally a sunny day on the bike, or take the car).s
Spot of exercise
Chiswick house or the river
Day tripping
A drive to The Olde Bell Inn, Hurley, never disappoints.
