About our home

A classic 2-bed Victorian conversion - bright, airy and spacious. I'm on a quiet residential street just minutes away from the shops and amenities of Holloway, which include several supermarkets, cafes, a cinema and excellent transport links into central London. Islington is a 5-minute bus ride around the corner; Covent Garden is a 12-minute tube ride away. The perfect place to repair to after a day exploring everything London has to offer. Or if you fancy a day-trip to Paris, St Pancras International is just 2 tube stops along the Piccadilly line, or 10 minutes in a cab.

Features

More about us

  1. It's just me! And possibly a friend.

  2. I'm a classical music producer at the BBC.

  3. Classical music is my big passion so I'm keen to go somewhere with a lively cultural scene, and preferably an opera house.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Head to nearby Upper St and you're spoilt for choice; tons of eateries of all kinds
Cool bars
Cool bars in abundance in Camden and Islington, both a short bus ride away
Cozy cafés
Tons of places for the perfect Sunday brunch, including a couple right on the doorstep
Retail therapy
If it's little boutiques you fancy, head to nearby Upper St; there's also Camden Market close by. If you want the big department stores, Oxford St is about 20 minutes away, or - my personal favourite - head to Knightsbridge on the Piccadilly line and then wander up to the King's Road.
Bit of culture
Covent Garden and Leicester Square are a short tube ride away; there are also plenty of buses in the Hackney/Hoxton direction if you want something a bit edgier.
Walks in the park
Finsbury Park is a 5-minute walk away; Highbury Fields is also a great place for picnics. Regular buses to Hampstead Heath.
Spot of exercise
Lovely tennis courts in nearby Highbury Fields, which is also a great place for a run.
Day tripping
Nowhere's very far, and if you fancy a day-trip on Eurostar my flat is just two tube stops from St Pancras International.
