Our 3 storey house has been lovingly restored to unite the best of a period property with contemporary style. 5 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (plus downstairs utility room/toilet and cellar), through lounge and large kitchen/diner combine to offer over 2300 square foot of living space. Original features include a working fire in the lounge, cornicing, stained glass panels in the front door and Victorian floor tiles throughout the hallway. The light and spacious kitchen has underfloor heating (as do both bathrooms and downstairs toilet) and can be merged with the landscaped garden simply by opening the bi-fold doors. 2 sets of garden lights combine to create the perfect ambiance for an evening glass of wine after a hard day's sightseeing! The garden room is currently being used as a gym and has a cross trainer.
Both beds in the boys' rooms are adult sized so would suit children of any age.
There is free parking outside of our home.
Our house is located a 10 minute walk away from Dulwich Village where you will find a traditional pub (that does a fantastic Sunday roast), a selection of shops and restaurants and for all art lovers the renowned Dulwich Picture Gallery. Also nearby is trendy East Dulwich, a hotspot for smart boutiques and eateries.
There are 3 parks within a 10 minute walk, all of which have fantastic playgrounds for children. There is also a private sports club nearby (which we are members of) and you can sign your children up for holiday clubs and sporting activities.
Brockwell Park Lido, a public outdoor swimming pool, is also very close (great cafe too).
Getting to central London couldn't be easier - from the front door to the West End is half an hour (via train).
We now have a cat who is very low maintenance. You would just need to put out food/water each day (no litter tray!).
