About our home

Our home was completely refurbished three years ago and we since we lovingly decorating it with a retro-modern eclectic style. Inside, we find the light-filled kitchen-dining-family room opening out to the garden is the heart of our home, cosy in winter with underfloor heating and merging with the garden in the summer. Our sitting room is more of an adult space, and also functions as a home cinema with a drop-down projector screen and ceiling-concealed surround sound. Upstairs the master bedroom has a very comfortable superking sized bed and en suite bathroom, our daughter's room is next to the family bathroom, and at the top of the house is the guest bedroom with a queen sized bed and en suite bathroom. High speed wifi throughout the house.

Queens Park is a gem of a neighbourhood within London: central but with a friendly, family, bohemian feel. We are one minute's walk round the corner from a very well equipped park, with pitch and putt, tennis courts, children's playground, petting zoo and cafe. Numerous restaurants, cafes and shops within walking distance. Farmers market 5mins walk away on Sundays. We are very close to Notting Hill, Little Venice, Primrose Hill and Hampstead. In terms of tourist attractions, given our central location we are a short tube ride away from Soho and Trafalgar Square (c. 20mins) with the numerous restaurants, shops and art galleries; 15 mins tube ride to Madame Tussauds and Regents Park; everything else is very accessible.

We are open to including our car, but equally a car is not necessary with a supermarket 4 mins walk away, online food shopping available, and we are very well connected to public transport (tube 7 mins walk, 15 mins to Oxford Circus; overground 2 mins walk, connecting to East and South West London). 45min - 60min by car from Heathrow Airport, 90min from Gatwick.

We have a weekly cleaner and can arrange for her to clean during a swap if desired.
