About our home

The Shad Thames area has always been recognised as one of the most beautiful and diverse in London. The local food markets and restaurants are the best in town, with all you need on your doorstep. Being in Zone 1, you're a riverside walk, or boat ride, away from most of London's major attractions.

Apartment almost always available May to September, and most dates besides. Only used during my work projects.

Where is it?

Neighbourhood

Buzzy restaurants
Anything in Borough Market, best food in town. Especially Wright Bros Oyster Bar, our Co sells wine there...
Cool bars
Plenty on the riverside, a few minutes walk from the apartment.
Cozy cafés
Monmonth makes the best coffee in London. Either Borough Market or London's newest weekend food market under the railway arches just across the road.
Retail therapy
Covent Garden, I guess. Just a stroll down the river.
Bit of culture
South Bank is London's musical, cultural and historic hub.
Walks in the park
Plenty in London, I'd sooner walk down the river.
Spot of exercise
Bike hire just by the apartment. Gyms and pools nearby too.
Day tripping
Greenwich by boat from Tower Bridge is a great London day out.
