About our home

About our home:

Large, bright and elegant family home in an early Victorian terrace house located between Camden Town and Regents Park.
The house retains many original features, such as high ceilings, reclaimed floorboards and stained glass windows, and has been tastefully refurbished throughout.
The house is spread over 4 floors:
- A paved front garden leads to the house
- On the ground floor, a very nice contemporary kitchen and dinning room with fire place. The dinning room is also used as the music room and there is an electrical piano, a guitar, a flute, a recorder and a child's... drum kit!
- The back garden is accessed through a back extension. It is not very large but very quiet and peaceful, like a green outdoor room
- On the first floor the living room is the nicest room of the house, has very high ceilings and opens to a study
- On the second floor there are two children’s room with a family bathroom
- The parent’s bedroom is on the top floor with it’s own dressing room and bathroom.
- There is a laundry room on the top floor

We have a good selection of books and DVD’s and the kid’s rooms have plenty of toys, lego and playmobil. We also have bikes and are happy to lend them.

The house is in a very quiet tree lined street a stone’s through away from lively Camden Town, where you can find endless numbers of shops and restaurants, bars and music venues. Regents Park is a 5 minutes walk away and provides beautiful expanses of landscaped park and leisure - sport areas. You can also ride into central London in a 15 minute bus journey with several bus routes just near the house, or a 10 minutes tube ride from tube station just 2 minutes walk away.
The local attractions within 10 minutes walk are Regents Park, London Zoo, Primrose Hill, Regents Canal, Camden Market and plenty more.

More about us

  1. We are a Swiss family who have been living in London since 4 years. We are architects and work in London and Switzerland; our children are 6 and 9 years old. We have a cat who’s 6 months old and who’s very friendly. We love living in our house in Camden, having the busy city life around one corner and Regents Park around the other. With access to fantastic galleries, shows, restaurants, on one hand and beautiful parks, playgrounds, rose gardens, lakes and tennis courts on the other. This is Central London living at it’s best in our opinion. We love travelling and discovering other ways of living. We look after our house well and would look after your home with equal respect.
