About our home

Our charismatic apartment is a real charmer. The building is several hundred years old, though we do have all the mod-cons! It boasts wooden beams and wonky floors, making it a unique place to stay. Right in the centre of town, you have easy access to all the excellent restaurants nearby, and the market in the square. The medieval castle stands proud on the square, and the countryside surrounding Ludlow is classed an "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty", so perfect for any outdoorsy types.

More about us

  1. We're a couple

  2. We're both musicians. Alison is a music teacher and Ryan is a teaching assistant

  3. We both enjoy biking and walking in the area, and love eating out at the many good food establishments!

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
The Globe - gorgeous Thai food! Or The Marches on a Monday night for 2-4-1 authentic Italian pizzas. Although walk around and pick a restaurant - you really can't go wrong here!
Cozy cafés
Carvell's - the art of Tea. They do the good cake.
Retail therapy
Wander around the market - it's on everyday and always has something unusual and different to offer.
Bit of culture
Ludlow Castle is right on your doorstep and well worth a look around.
Walks in the park
Enjoy a leisurely stroll along the river in Ludlow, or cross into Mortimer Forest and go that bit further. Or if you fancy a bit of hill-walking hop in the car and head to the Long Mynd (as mentioned in Malcolm Saville's books!)
Spot of exercise
The walking here is fantastic, or you can always hire a bike if you don't mind the hills! There is a swimming pool and a gym just 15 minutes aways as well.
