About our home

Piilar House is a beautiful, Grade II listed Cotswold stone barn conversion in a quiet location. 12 metre long beamed living area with oak floor, four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and study with internet access. Sleeps 6-7. Modern fully-equipped kitchen with granite worktops. Recently-fitted bathrooms with high quality suites. The master bedroom (en suite) is in the beamed hay loft. The large private garden has a patio area with barbeque and borders onto fields. The barn is situated off the road within a courtyard setting next to a 16th century farmhouse. Charlton borders the Lord Suffolk estate and boasts a 12th century church and local pub serving high-quality food. Close to Malmesbury, England's oldest borough, with a rich history over 1000 years.

Malmesbury is set on a hill circled by the River Avon. The skyline is dominated by the imposing Norman Abbey. Historical sights include the fine 15th century Market Cross, narrow medieval streets and beautiful river walks.

Charlton is situated on the edge of the Cotswolds with the 'Roman' cities of Bath and Cirencester nearby. The Historic trading port of Bristol is just 45 minutes away. Easy motorway access to Bristol airport and all London airports.

Local activities cycling, fishing, golf, horse riding, sailing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing
