About our home

We own this house but let and use it mainly as a holiday house, if we exchange we also have a home in Lancaster you can use to break the journey.

Beautiful solid walnut flooring leads you through the open plan living, dining and kitchen area, which is a great space for chatting with friends, family and guests. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with double cooker, fridge freezer and dishwasher, you will also find an assortment of utensils. There is a utility room with BBQ (for outside use), ironing board and iron, push chair, pool table and a few games and books to help keep both kids and adults entertained.

Relax and unwind upstairs in one of three luxurious bedrooms, all fully dressed for your arrival with soft, fresh linen and fluffy towels. The property offers one king size master bedroom, one double and one single. A travel cot can be provided and, should the need arise, a double inflatable can also be left, the living area downstairs would accommodate this comfortably.

Dim the lights and enjoy some downtime in a deep relaxing bath or start your day with a shower in the fully tiled bathroom.

We also provide a welcome pack of fresh bread, butter, cereals, milk, tea, coffee and a bottle of wine upon arrival, to help you get you started. Should you require anything else, please let us know prior to arrival and we will try to accommodate your needs.

The property also benefits from WIFI and Freeviewl television, so you don’t have to miss your favourite programmes while you're on holiday.

The property has a garden to the rear, which, though yet to be landscaped, provides an outdoor space in which you can enjoy BBQ's, games or simple lounging.

Maryport is an attractive coastal town on the Solway estuary, with sweeping views, shoreline walks, golf links, coastal sailing, lively pubs and memorable summer festivals. Here you can experience a maritime history of two thousand years of the sea, visit the many attractions and boutique shops, and discover a Lake District experience with a definite difference.

As the birthplace of the founder of the White Star Line - the company that built the Titanic, you can learn more about this at the cosy Maritime Museum. A hotspot for music lovers, Maryport hosts a popular annual blues festival on the last weekend of July and in the past has enjoyed a bill of top performers, such as Jools Holland, Mark Almond, Chuck Berry and many others.

Rich in heritage, with a Roman Museum and Heritage Centre providing a great afternoon out for amateur historians. Being by the sea, the town has an attractive working Harbour and a Marina, a seaside Aquarium, with children’s adventure playground. There's plenty to do for sports fans too, with tennis and squash courts, gyms, a swimming pool, a quality golf course and with crazy golf. For evening entertainment there's the town concert hall and cinema and numerous bars and restaurants.

Details of these and many other things to see and do in Maryport will be waiting for you in the house, and if that's not enough, the tourist information centre is only a five minute walk from the property.

Above all we hope Number 91 will be a home from home for your stay.

We reserve the right to change any decoration, fixtures and fittings without notice.
