About our home

I offer a recently modernised home with oak floors in hall and lounge and dining room. Also a wonderful open fire. French doors lead from the main lounge onto a patio area and private rear garden. There are three large double bedrooms with one family bathroom and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a separate downstairs toilet. We have a very large well equipped dining kitchen with all modern conveniences. The house is situated in a private road which is a cul-de-sac.

Neighbourhood

We live in New Earswick, a suburb of the city of York. We are just over 2 miles from the city centre which is well served by a regular bus service from the end of our road. All major supermarkets are within easy reach, as are cinema, dining and leisure activities. There is also a large retail outlet nearby.
York is a magnificent ancient walled city with a host of tourist attractions. There is a high speed rail link to London (100 minutes) and Edinburgh (120 minutes). Also, we are close to the Yorkshire Dales and North York Moors National Parks.
