About our home

3 bedroom house, lounge, separate dining room, additonal large family/office room(great if extra guests stayin.kitchen, usual microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas cooker. Bathroom with power shower. Central heating,new double glazing and french doors onto indian stone patio (9.5m x 3.5m). double width drive and garage.

Quiet neighbourhood nestled in small village (4300 residents) surrounded by farmland at the foot of woodland with some lovely walks with great views of North Yorkshire coastline. 10 minutes drive from several good beaches and 30 mindrive onto North Yorkshire moors. 45 minutes driving to main british North/south road, A1M. 1 hour's drive to York or Newcastle, 2 hours drive to the Lake District on the West.
Very good chinese takeaway, pizza shop and local bakery. Pub and sports club in village. Really great neighbours all round ( best we have ever met). From upstairs of house you can see the coast from the back and the woods from the front. 10 minutes from local swimming baths/leisure centres, museums, art galleries

Husband, security supervisor for steel industry, son 13 years, daughter 2 and myself, college lecturer, considering emigrating to Canada and would be interested in staying there for a couple of weeks to get a feel for the area. Interested in cooking, family tree research, motorbikes and mountain biking, books, gardening, walking.
