About our home

Our beautiful home is located in the lovely village of Corbridge in the Tyne Valley, Northumberland, less than 20 miles from Newcastle upon Tyne. It has four double bedrooms, a large lounge with sofa bed, dining room, study, conservatory and stunning bespoke kitchen. Externally, there is a lovely garden with borders and a small pond. The house is located on a development of only four homes, and so offers privacy along with very easy access (less than five minutes walking) into the village centre. The village has a number of lovely restaurants, including Indian and Chinese, as well as friendly pubs, many of which offer very good quality food. The village was originally a Roman settlement, and the many visitor attractions of Hadrian's Wall can be accessed within ten minutes. Slightly further afield are the city of Newcastle, with it's famous bridges and nightlife, Durham, with it's world heritage site and Cathedral, and the Metro Centre for shopping on a grand scale. Walking and riding are well catered for in the area, with the Cheviots, Kielder Forest and the stunning Northumberland coastline with it's castles and world famous beaches all within an hour by car. Within two hours you can reach the cities of York and Edinburgh. The Lake District National Park is again only an hour away.
