About our home

Our house was built around 1750 and then modernised in 1974. It retains many of the original features, such as the open fireplace in the sitting room. Apart from the modern bathroom there is a cloakroom downstairs. The kitchen was re-designed in 1999 and has all up to date appliances. There is oil-fired central heating throughout, as well as logs for the fire.We look out over the river Yare and are in the centre of the conservation area, surrounded by similar properties. There is an excellent pub in the village and people are very f riendly. We are not far from the Broads but in easy reach of Norwich with all the city attractions.
