About our home

WE ARE ABLE TO OFFER NON SIMULTANEOUS DATES. A truly unique property set on the banks of the River Bure in Horning,in the heart of the Norfolk broads. Bureville was completely rebuilt in 2002 and is first class is every department. She offers sleeping for 10 in 3 separate thatched buildings, 6 in the main house with 2 bathrooms, 2 in The Pod (annexe) with en-suite bathroom and a further 2 in the self contained boat house with en-suite bathroom. With amazing views over Norfolk Broads world heritage wetlands, over 100ft of quay headed mooring to the front and 55ft of quay headed mooring to the front. Accessed via a wood chip road she will give you a truly authentic Norfolk Broads holiday.

Main house ground floor: Large bright lounge with panoramic views of the river, patio doors leading to a decked area with garden furniture and the garden, including dining table and double swing seat. TV, DVD, Playstation 2. Fully fitted kitchen including dishwasher, electric cooker, hob and fridge. Master bedroom with views of the river & queen size bed with TV. Twin bedroom with hanging space and drawers with TV. Family bathroom with free standing bath and large walk in shower. 1st Floor: Twin bedroom with hanging space & drawers, en-suite shower room, TV & DVD. Fishing shed including fridge/freezer.

The Pod: Double bed, TV, hanging space & drawers. En-suite shower room.

The Boathouse: King size bed, hanging space & drawers. Kitchenette with 2 ring hob, sink. En-suite shower room. Flat screen TV. Utility room including washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge/freezer.

All TV’s have freeview. Bed linen and towels included. WiFi also included. Parking for 3 cars.

Fantastic river fishing from the garden out front and the dyke to the rear in season, a licence is required, along with great sailing and kayaking.

Many miles of river system and broads to explore, the Norfolk Broads being one of the most important wet land wild life sanctuaries in Europe.


Some of the most beautiful beaches in Britain are within easy day trip range, along with many historic villages and places of special interest.

Many of our guests return year after year, to enjoy the feeling of stepping back in time for a good old fashioned family holiday
