More about us

  1. We are Charles and Judy and have lived in Norfolk for 30 years. We recently completed the barn conversion next to our old farmhouse, which we have let. Our plan is to spend the next few years visiting our children and parts of the world we have not seen. We have had a successful home exchange in San Francisco where we were able to see our daughter and her young family who live there. In 2016 we are looking for a place in San Francisco again and also perhaps in Italy or France for an extended stay as we enjoying getting to know a place.

Where is it?

Neale's Barn is part of a small hamlet. A quiet location in a rural part of Norfolk. We are about 40 minutes, by car, from the coast which is a European designated area for outstanding natural beauty and bird watching in particular.
We are conveniently placed for the coast, the city of Norwich with its 900 year old cathedral and the Norfolk Broads, a National Park and Britain's largest protected wetland area.
Country walks and lovely cycling lanes abound with welcoming country pubs. We have at least two bikes for your use. Sailing and motor boat hire are available on the Broads.
