About our home

Our house was built in 1908 and is located in a quiet street 15 minutes walk from the centre of Oxford, one of Europe's most beautiful cities. Buses to the city run every few minutes. There are many restaurants and pubs within 5-10 minutes walk and a golf course half a mile away. There are five trains an hour to London and buses run to the capital and Heathrow and Gatwick airports every ten minutes. This makes Oxford a viable alternative to staying in London. The Chiltern Hills lie to the south of Oxford and the picture-perfect Cotswolds to the north.

More about us

  1. We're a semi-retired couple

  2. Julie is an ex head-teacher and I am an academic

  3. We love walking, sight-seeing, art and architecture, music (Julie sings Jazz), sport (I play golf and tennis).
