About our home

Our home is a 3 bedroom mid-terrace 3 storey house in a quiet cul-de-sac close to Oxford city centre. The ground floor has a front room with small open fireplace and an open plan kitchen/dining/lounge (with sliding glass doors to atrium and garden). The lounge area has 4 recliner armchairs (movie style) with large TV and piano. We also have Netflix and Alexa. The 1st Floor has two bedrooms (one currently used as a study) and a family bathroom with shower and bath. We also have a single mattress that we can put in another room. The top floor has a large ensuite and main bedroom with a Juliette balcony and views over Hinksey Park. We have a lovely garden with water features and a studio. Children are welcome – we have toys, games etc. Our house is also pet-friendly (we sadly no longer have a cat but would be happy to look after your pets). There is enough space in the garden for children or dogs to play, the park behind the house offers walks and there are longer walks in the countryside across the walking bridge at the end of the street.

Our house backs on to Hinksey Park which has a large lake, a small boating lake (remote control boats), outdoor heated swimming pool (April to September), children's splash park, children's playground, table tennis tables and free tennis courts. There is a community centre at the end of the street with a Sunday farmers’ market (organic foods and artisan breads).

We are a 15-20 minute walk into the centre of town or a 5 mins walk to the river and a 15 mins walk into town along the Isis (Thames) River with river trips, paddle boats, punts etc. Within easy walking distance are shops, university colleges, cafes, pubs, river walks, nature reserves and an ice rink. There are two convenience stores, several coffee shops and a couple of pubs within a few minutes walk. The new Westgate Centre for up-market shopping is a 15 min walk. Oxford Station is a 25 mins walk or 5 mins drive/bus trip (London in 1 hour). London and Heathrow buses are a 15 mins walk/5 mins bus or taxi ride (bus to Heathrow takes 80 mins). Hinksey Heights Golf Club is a 10 minute drive, or 10 minute walk across fields.
