Quiet, new development 2 miles walking distance to Oxford City Centre and nearer to the small shopping area of Headington. The bus stop is 2 minutes walk from the house and takes you to the Cowley Road area and to Oxford City Centre. The transport link to London is a 10 minute walk or a short bus ride. A short walk through the park takes you to Headington with it's street Cafe's and some places to enjoy a snack or a pint. A few minutes walk into Marston village takes you to a couple of pubs for a pub snack. Cowley Road has a multi-cultural atmosphere and boasts a multitude of places to eat, from Indian, Chinese, Japanese and Kebabs to traditional cafes serving English Breakfasts. It is also the pub capital of Oxford and a favourite haunt for Oxford University students. Walk over Magdalen Bridge and through the Universities to the dreaming spires, or walk from home through the University parks and have a picnic on the way. South Park is a short walk from Headington and is a playground for the university students and families in the summer and many festivals through the year. Headington Hill park also hosts the university Shakespears company players in the spring and summer where they hold plays in the lovely surroundings of the park. All within walking distance. London is a 90 minute bus ride away, the buses run 24/7 364 days a year, and take you right to Oxford Street or any of the many stops on the way.

I am a student of Social Work. My profession is as a Public Health Nutritionist, and I worked for the NHS until returning to study. In the summer I teach English to students from all over the world in my home, where they stay with me for a week, or even a month.
My eldest daughter has a 3 month old baby boy and my younger daughter is working full time in the centre of Oxford. I will probably travel on my own or with a friend or even my daughter and her partner.
