About our home

A comfy country house, about 300 years old with all the charm of a home which has been in the same family for three generations. Really well proportioned, each bedroom is double, two have ensuite bathrooms, plus there's a large family bathroom. A very large living room, but also a tranquil library, dining room and conservatory. Practical kitchen with range cooker.
Big garden, with two beehives and usually chickens (depending on the fox) and a choice of sunny seating areas and croquet lawn.
Situated at the centre of a small but extremely friendly village, with a little brook you can walk to and paddle in, a church famous for its 13th century murals and a village green with a great children's play area.
Loads to do nearby, 30 minutes equi-distant from Stratford upon Avon, Oxford and Bicester Village. Ten minutes from Banbury where there are fast, regular trains to London in less than an hour, but also ten minutes from Chippy, home of the "Chipping Norton set!"
