About our home

A comfortable family home which would suit another family looking to exchange or for those who don't mind a child friendly home! The house is "bottom heavy" with a bright and airy downstairs hallway which leads into the living/dining area, kitchen (with utility room), WC, study and a double bedroom. Upstairs there are two good sized bedrooms (one of which has an en-suite shower room) and the main bathroom. The house is linked to "super-fast" broadband and has central heating. There is a secure back garden with decking area and play house.

Neighbourhood

The house is located in a small quaint village called Abernethy which is located 8 miles south east of Perth. The village is served by a pub, small shop, small museum and tearoom. There are plenty of signposted walks around the village which are ideal for those who enjoy early morning or evening walks. Abernethy has one of Scotland's two surviving Irish-style round towers and it is possible to climb to the top, using a modern metal spiral staircase leading to impressive views over the Tay Estuary. Perthshire is a beautiful part of Scotland with many attractions to suit outdoor enthusiasts or those wishing to embrace the history and culture of the local area.
