About our home

Beautiful Georgian country house - once described by Country Life as the most perfect small estate in Scotland. Very much a family home, the house has been extensively refurbished. Library, drawing room, dining room (seats 14), study (TV room), large kitchen with Aga, laundry room, billiards room. Stands in 120 acres of parkland and with a wonderful 2.5 acre walled garden. In the summer we have a tented pavilion within the walled garden, with a table comfortably seating 14, where we hold barbecues -and there is croquet to while away the time.

Housekeeping can be available as part of your stay and we can also arrange for a chef/cook for you if required.

For golfers, our position is unbeatable. We are close to some of the best courses in the world - Carnoustie, St Andrews and Gleneagles to name but three.
