About our home

A 3 bed semi-detached house in a small courtyard development of eight homes beside the sea. Walk straight out to the beach (100m), popular surfing and seaside village. The master bedroom has a king size four-poster bed and overlooks the ocean (next stop USA!). Faces due West for beautiful sunsets in summer. Twin bedroom with sea views and a further double bedroom. Furnished comfortably for holiday use, Large lounge (tv dvd stereo etc) dining area and fully fitted kitchen. There is a small enclosed garden exclusive to the house, eat BBQ etc outdoors, shared carparking (but ample). This is our holiday home not our main residence,

Nestling on a long sandy beach, with sand dunes and cliffs. Blue Flag beach, very popular with surfers (all year) and families in the summer months. Ideal for walking (Cornish Coastal footpath passes behind the house). Close to children's playground (they can be watched from the garden), nearby pub, surfbar, restaurant, surfshops, village store/ deli, or try the restaurants and pubs in nearby villages. Dogs are not permitted on the beach in summer. Beautiful area, 15 miles from both Newquay and St Ives. plenty of tourist attractions in Cornwall to visit such as the Eden Centre. Cornwall is in the southwest tip of the United Kingdom, approx 300 miles from London
Checkout http://www.blue-bar.co.uk/webcam.htm for a view of the beach.
Wildlife (seals, dolphins, basking sharks, sea birds etc) can be seen around the coast.

English speaking couple, we live in Gloucestershire - grown up family, our son lives nearby in Cornwall and our daughter in London. Accountant and health worker. We are in our early 50s, and enjoy walking, swimming (surfing), good food, sports (squash, aerobics and watching rugby) travelling.
