About our home

Our home is finished to a high standard. It is on a street well known in the area for the quality of Victorian houses. Whilst it is in a busy area,(nearest shops and bars 2 minutes walk), it is still a quiet location. Our south facing garden is a sun trap - there's no pool but we have a small gym area at the back of the garden and plenty of toys for kids including the trampoline! We have sun loungers, patio furniture and a built in bbq! A few minutes in the car takes you to the beach or main town. Portsmouth is a very historic city and there is much to see and do. The kids can enjoy many entertaining areas locally when the weather is good! When it's not so good there are excellent play zones and other park attractions. We are an hour and a half drive from central London and less to Brighton. Both worth a visit or a short stay. Local theaters, gun wharf keys harbour resort are all on your doorstep. Our home is set over 2 floors. Large entrance hall leading to our adult sitting room with a 50" plasma tv, another large sitting room currently child friendly and with another lounge area and tv. Also on this level is the kitchen. There is also a downstairs toilet. You can access our garden at the rear from a sitting room and the kitchen. Stairs lead you to the 1st floor and another separate wc, as well as the main bathroom with a double bath and fantastic family power shower! Also on this floor is 3 double bedrooms. Our guest room has a king size double bed and the 2 children's rooms each have standard size single car beds! cot/cotbed available. These rooms are very nicely decorated and have many toys! All bedrooms have TV's! On the top floor there is a fantastic large master bedroom and en suite. A queen size bed (thats bigger than the king), and another plasma tv. We have sky tv downstairs and all digital channels upstairs! Our home is very large for the Portsmouth area and in fact one of the biggest on street. The area can be as peaceful or as busy as you would like it to be. There is a lot to see and do or you can just relax and unwind in the comfortable and quiet garden! We can provide 1 or 2 cars during your stay if required. We would like to swap for 3 to 4 weeks before the 18th of August 2013 - any dates considered. We also have a static caravan in Selesy, (30 minutes from our home), we are happy to let you access during your stay. sorry there are no pictures of the garden - it is 70 foot and south facing so we get the sun there all day long. i will post some pictures later.
