About our home

Spread over 3 floors this georgian house, built in the 1850s has been fully restored and re-modelled in a contempory style. Lots of lght and open space. On the first floor there is the master bedroom with it's own walk in Wetroom along. On this floor there is also our daughter's bedroom with a 3/4 bed and the main bathroom with a roll top bath.

In the basement is our office and the guest bedroom with a double bed and it's own small shower room and toilet.

The ground floor has a large hall (for this type of house), a large sitting room with TV/DVD and surround sound and a large conservatory/Kitchen area with a glass atrium and double french doors out into the garden.

We have a large garden, fully landscaped, with a number of destinct areas including a reflective pond and water feature.

The hose has full central Heating.

The house is situated in popular West Putney close to the river (5mins) and just around the corner from Putney High Street. The road is very quiet and neigbours very friendly.

Putney has direct bus and tube links to central london and a also a main line station with regular services directly to Waterloo station (20mins). There is also a river taxi service to central London on weekdays - slow but fun - you can also take this up river to Hampton Court Palace.

This is a freindly street, everyone knows each other.

The river provides great walks and many pubs. The start of the Oxford to Cambridge boat race starts from Putney. The tow path is popular for walks as is the Royal Park of Richmond which is 10 - 15mins by car.

Putney High Streets has a wealth of shops, a cinema, banks, and many restaurants, cafes and bars.

Helen and I are both freelance. Helen is a photographer and I am a producer/ writer. We have one daughter (22) who is studying fashion design.

We both work from home and are interested in and collect art, african artifacts and vintage objects.
