About our home

We have a light and airy apartment with high ceilings in a Victorian period house with access to a large private garden square. Within 25 minutes walk of central London (Marble Arch/Oxford Street), or a short bus/underground ride, and within easy access, 5 minutes walk, of Hyde Park, the best of both worlds! Located close to a small high street, Queensway, with shopping centre, cinema, bowling, ice skating rink, as well as an endless choice of restaurants and bars.

Easy access to head into the 'West End' of London for art galleries, theatre, restaurants, nightlife and shopping. Other attractions like Kensington Palace, Notting Hill and Portobello Road market are all within walking distance.

We are a professional married couple, in our late thirties, seeking an exchange to Melbourne for March 2014.

My husband is the CEO of an education company and I am an Estate Agent. We both enjoy reading, theatre, films, sports, especially golf, and I love cooking. We have a healthy lifestyle and a love of nature, which is why we live close to lots of green open space but we are very close to the buzz of the city too.
