Beautiful home with hot tub near Cambridge

“Jennifer was an excellent communicator, and was able to show us around the house so there were no hidden issues to bother about. Her home is very light and comfortable, and has a well appointed kitchen. The bed was very comfortable and the attic bedroom was quite large and airy. We enjoyed the delightful greenery and flowers in the back garden. Didn’t really get time for a hot tub, but it would be a treat in slightly cooler weather. We were able to drive to the park and ride bus service for Cambridge in 20 mins, and spent 2 delightful days there. The property is very close to Wimpole Farm and House, a National Trust property with a working farm and a wonderful house, stables, gardens etc- could be a full day if desired. Anglesey Abbey and Lode mill were also great.places to visit. We explored other places from Croydon also, we especially enjoyed wandering to some of the local villages for lunches or morning teas- Horton to see the NT working mill, Hemingford Abbots, etc The country scenery around Croydon is delightful. ”

“We had stayed in this property before (we occasionally attend a music conference nearby) so this was our second visit. Jennifer is very quick to reply and it was a nice easy swap. We like the style and feel of the house and the bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable. A big plus point is that there is a lovely bar/restaurant literally 2 minutes walk away so after a busy day it's a great place to eat and no-one has to drive home. We may be back again! Thank you for a great stay.”

“Lovely family - who offered to put us up at a time we really needed a swap. Unfortunately for various reasons, they were not able to agree to us accomodating my brother and his wife (who are part of our household) just for a couple of nights, which made things a a bit difficult for us.....But the house itself was very nice and clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed staying there. Communication was also excellent., and we were grateful for this swap as we are currently unable to return to our home in Sri Lanka! ”

“Our group of 3 had a great 4-night stay in Jennifer's home in April this year. The house was very much to our taste, nicely decorated with lovely little touches. We were out all day so we didn't use the garden but it looked a great space for kids. The living room and kitchen were both spacious, comfortable and well equipped. It's a lived in family home but everything was very clean and it had a nice atmosphere. Jennifer left us a discount card for the local pub/restaurant which is literally a 2 minute walk and we had a fabulous meal there. We spent one day at Bletchley Park - really interesting - and another walking around Cambridge. All in all a really great exchange.”

It's remote, but only takes half an hour by car to Cambridge, Duxford etc. Jennifer keeps her house spotless and there is everything you might need there.
