About our home

Moat barn is a converted barn set in the heart of beautiful Kent countryside. The former barn used to be a tea shop in the 1930s and has many exposed oak-beams.The garden is over 1 acre and has amazing views across the Kent countryside. It is 1 mile from Tenterden which is the Jewel of the Weald and only 45 mins by train to London. There are many historic and interesting places to visit , castles, National Trust properties and the sea is only a 20minutes drive away.

The house has four bedrooms, one of which is presently used as a study, large Oak beamed lounge with inglenook fire place and woodburner , a second room currently used as a snug with woodburner, large sun room with extensive views of the surrounding garden, Large main bedroom with ensuite and separate family bathroom with spa bath.
