About our home

Our house is a single story building built in the 1960's and completely restored and redecorated by us. It has plenty of modern features, excellent heating for chilly nights and beautiful views across to Dartmoor some 20 miles away. It's in a quiet road opposite a large playing field with goalposts and a very well equipped playground is close by providing plenty of fun for kids up to about 15. A small supermarket is about 5 minutes walk, which stays open until 11pm. Nearby shops are great for holiday shopping and there are plenty of pubs selling local produce and real ales at modest prices. Salcombe also boasts several excellent restaurants.

More about us

  1. We have three kids from 8 years old (the girl) with two boys of 14 and 21

  2. Lucinda runs a diabetes clinic in north London and John helps new technology companies raise funds and breakthrough their products, if its in your iphone, we probably know about it!

  3. With kids our age, the outdoors is very popular, that's why we have a house only 3 minutes from the seaside. We also live in London and so we try to use as much of London as we can, although the pace is much different to the tranquility of south Devon.
