About our home

We have a semi-detached, 3 bedroomed,( small bedroom now a study) completely renovated house, comfortable & well furnished. All the furniture throughout is new with flat screen TVs in the lounge, dining room and master bedroom. There are patio doors leading to a small conservatory & from there to a small, sunny rear patio which needs little maintenance. In the front of the house there is parking for 2 cars. We live in a quiet neighbourhood with delightful neighbours. The bus stop to Plymouth is 2 minutes walk from the house & a 10 minute walk will take you to the railway station which will take you to Plymouth & the rest of the country.

Neighbourhood

We live on the Cornish side of the River Tamar which is the border with Devon, 5 miles from the Dartmoor National Park & 5 miles from Plymouth city centre. Saltash has a thriving high street with several independent shops & coffee houses. There is also a leisure centre and a golf & country club. Within an hour's drive are the restaurants of celebrity chefs Rick Stein, Jamie Oliver & Hugh Fearnly-Whittingstall.
Plymouth offers a greater number of shops, waterside pubs & restaurants, galleries, cinemas, theatre & nightclubs. Plymouth Hoe, where Sir Francis Drake played bowls, overlooks one of the finest natural harbours in the world & has been a base for naval expeditions since the thirteenth century. The whole area is steeped in history & there are several National Trust Properties wihin an hour's drive.
Easy access to the A38 & M5 will take you anywhere in the country.
