About our home

Our seaside retreat is very welcoming with many homely touches and a fully equipped kitchen. It is situated on the prestigious Esplanade in Scarborough. Great views of South Bay and the stunning coastline are outside the door - this is the original British sea side resort and this apartment is situated in the perfect place to experience the best of this. Situated on the ground floor, it is a relaxing place to rest, watch the world go by, walk or explore. It is newly refurbished with stylish modern features, beach inspired decor, spacious master bedroom with king size bed and a new, large walk in shower. A few minutes from the historic Spa centre which hosts wonderful concerts, shows and festivals. Beach chalets are available to rent near by and an original Victorian cliff lift is on the doorstep taking you to the beautiful clean sandy beach which always attains the best blue flag rating. A favourite location for surfing. The North Yorkshire Moors, Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay and historic York with it's Minster and Roman walls is within easy reach . A great place for children with boat trips, donkey rides and all the traditions of the seaside holiday in walking distance. The Tour de France has made this area popular with cyclists and now hosts it's own Tour de Yorkshire every year. The Yorkshire coast provides a great coastal walking path too. We love to chill out with long walks on the beach and round the Marine Drive. The working harbour is a bustling place and is a great place to get a boat for fishing or leisure. Speed boats and pirate ships provide great adventures for the kids too.
