Where is it?

Sedgefield is a safe and friendly small town surrounding by the village green and St. Edmund's Church. Our house is on a quiet area on the edge of the green, and a 3 minute walk to the local shops, pubs and cafe's.

Many houses date from 1750 or earlier and have mature gardens with large trees. The community is friendly and lots of local amenities.

There are traditional events all year round, such as Shrove Tuesday Football match, Medieval Fair, Snow Parade, Carol Singing etc. There is a farmer's market on the first Sunday of each month. There are many sporting, arts and crafts activities that reach out to the whole community and guests, so you are welcome to join in if you would like.

The 'village' is 8 miles from the coast so we get many sunny, clear days compared to central and western UK making this an ideal all-year round location.

We love Sedgefield, and think you will too.
