About our home

Situated on the edge of the rural Silverstone village, our spacious house has two sitting rooms, a large modern kitchen and an ample dining room. Downstairs is modern, spacious and comfortable. Upstairs there are five bedrooms, although one is an office. The house sleeps 8 comfortably. There is a double bed in the master bedroom, which also has an en-suite, a small double in a 'boys' bedroom, twin beds (can be a large double) in the other main guest room and a double sofa bed in the second living room downstairs (which can split and become two singles).

We have a cat, Max, who likes strokes and to be fed but he can be fed by a neighbour if that's more convenient. We also have fish in a tank. The cat means that we cannot accommodate pets, unfortunately.

We are experienced swappers and always treat your home with upmost respect.

Where is it?

Silverstone is based in beautiful, rural South Northamptonshire, and is home to the famous Formula One racetrack. The view from the rear of the house is quite special and can be seen from all of the bedrooms upstairs as well as from three of the reception rooms downstairs. The area is good for cycling, walking and exploring the countryside. It is not far from London (30 minutes by train from Milton Keynes), Oxford and Stratford upon Avon are both a 45 minutes drive and Milton Keynes and Northampton have theatres and other attractions for both children and adults. Milton Keynes also boasts good shopping as well as lakes and many sports, including sky diving, high ropes, indoor skiing and water sports. Bicester Shopping Village is only 25 minutes away. A car is advisable, due the rural location and there is a local shop and pub in the village both of which are excellent. 1.5 hours to Stonehenge and 2 hours to Brighton by car. The famous Costwolds are also only just over an hour away by car.

This is is ideal area for exploring Southern England, for a family holiday or somewhere to relax and chill.
