Islington Wharf is on Great Ancoats Street, just a 10 minute walk into the Trendy Northern Quarter area with independent restaurants and shops, plus the fantastic cool bars! Also 10 minute walk from city centre with an array of fantastic shops including Arndale Centre, Selfridges, Harvey Nichs and House of Fraser. It is also situated steps from a Thai cafe, Costa and of course a Dominoes (YUM!)
There is a local convenience shop, very friendly and offers milk, bread, alcohol and snacks.
Jub is a fantastic café/restaurant downstairs, literally 20 steps. It has a fantastic menu, great staff and you can get a nice pint or bottle of wine! Take-in or Take-out.
Aldi is a 5 minute walk away which is a great supermarket, next door to that is an M&S outlet and Go Outdoors is also there. You can get a 3 day pass at Pure Gym too www.puregym.com (Urban Exchange Gym) if you wish to keep fit too! There’s a great run/walk route up to a park and back (past Manchester City Stadium) which takes about 45 minutes or longer if you wish.
