About our home

Looking only to use up points in the next couple of years.
We are now swapping our main home which we use as a bed and breakfast when we are not travelling the world. We are experienced home swappers and travel either on our own or with our son and his wife. In the heart of Chipping Campden, just 2 minutes walk from the famous historic High Street, "Cornerways" is run as a bed and breakfast in the summertime and is ideal for 1 or 2 families looking for a great base from which to explore the Cotswolds. In a quiet but central location the property has an enclosed lawned back garden, off road parking for 2 cars (plenty of free roadside parking outside the property) and free wi-fi. A large sitting/dining room looks out onto the front garden with views along the lane. The large kitchen is fully equipped with large cast iron Aga, electric oven and gas hob, fridge freezer, dishwasher. There is a separate laundry room with washing machine and tumble drier. There is gas central heating throughout the house for winter months.
Upstairs there are two large bedrooms with double aspect windows. Each bedroom has ensuite shower rooms. One bedroom has a king bed and two single beds and the other room has a king bed and one single bed. Downstairs there is a ground floor double bedroom with king bed and ensuite shower room. There is a separate family bathroom with bath tub.
Just a stroll away from the beautiful High Street with an abundance of fine restaurants, country pubs, quintessential English tea rooms and a variety of shops for purchasing fresh local produce.
In town there are tennis courts, swimming, many Spas includng Cotswold House Hotel, Dormy Hotel and Charwingworth Manor and nearby many golf courses, horse riding and cycle hire.
Chipping Campden can be found in the northern tip of the Cotswolds which is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty stretching all the way down to Bath. It is a lovely traditional honey coloured stone wool town with many of the buildings lining the curve of one of the most beautiful High Streets in England dating back to the 14th century.

Chipping Campden is surrounded by glorious countryside with rolling hills and is ideal for walking the many local trails and also for the start of the famous Cotswold Way. A car is not essential as many surrounding villages can be visited by public transport.
Nearby are many Cotswold villages each with their own individual character - Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, The Slaughters, Broadway, Snowshill, Stanton to name but a few.
Nearby, Stratford-upon-Avon, Shakespeare Theatre
University City of Oxford
Blenheim Palace - Ancestral home of Sir Winston Churchill.
Many beautiful gardens including Hidcote Gardens

Chipping Campden is perfect for architecture, culture, great food, exploring or relaxing - the choice is yours. There is much seasonal variation - so any time of year is a good time of year!
