“Naomi's home is in amazing, yet under visited, location in the Lake District, The wonders of the Lakes are easily accessible by car, but there are stunning bike rides/walks to do from the doorstep. Naomi kindly lent us her bikes and it's a 20 min pretty cycle along a quiet road to the shores of beautiful Coniston Water. Spark Bridge has a nice pub with good food. We visited Furness Abbey and the English Heritage Bobbin Mill which are close by. The nearest market town (Ulverston) is gorgeous with loads of independent shops and cafes. Naomi's home is a warm and cosy Victorian house with a wood burning stove and AGA. The children loved looking after the chickens and enjoyed the really spacious bedrooms. We'd love to return one day, as we've only just started to explore the delights of the locality!”
