The house is 1965 clasic open plan with gardens front and back. Very quiet. It is very light and bright. It has kitchen/diningroom, sittingroom. Three bedrooms, bathroom and downstairs loo. There is a very sunny terrace.
I am a widow with four adult children who have all left home. I am learning Spanish so I may like to attend a language school during my visit. I may travel alone or with friends. I have many friends living very close to me who would be glad to help with any problems you may encounter or just show you around. I have a cat called Rocky who would need feeding and a bit of kindness. He is very friendly.
St Albans is an historic city, orginally a Roman settlement. 25 minutes by car from Luton Airport. There is a Roman Museum and a large public park with a lake 2minutes walk from the house. St Albans has an ancient Abbey/Cathedral which is very beautiful, a short walk from the house. There is a market in the main street twice a week, less than 10 minutes walk from the house.St Albans is surrounded by countryside which is good for walking. The railway station is 15 minutes walk away or by bus from the end of the road. There are frequent trains to London, St Pancras. Fast trains take 25 minutes.
