About our home

A comfortable home built 10 years ago with all mod cons, it benefits from a quiet village location. Only 10 minutes away from historical Windsor Castle and the Windsor Great Park, of course Eton College is only a short walk from the castle, crossing brige over the river Thames. Extremely well located should want to visit other places via car or perhaps visit France or Spain in less than two hours flying time as Heathrow Airport is only 15 minutes away ! London is approx 30-40 minutes drive time. I also a daily housekeeper who has worked for for 15 years, although my two children have mortgages of their own now !! Your children will be welcome and we are animal lovers too. We share our home with a parrot, dog and cat, but it is unlikely that they will be here during your stay. The two of us travel a lot and are therefore 'open' to your suggestions . I am willing to help with West End theatre tickets or flights to Spain etc should you wish.

The cul-de-sac is quiet with only a dozen or so houses on this very small development. There is a cross section of neighbours ie executives, retired couples and familes with children, generally they play outside since it is a very safe neighbourhood. There is a park and childrens play area very close to the house. Legoland theme park is not far (Windsor). Interested visitors will enjoy exploring pretty Berkshire towns such as Henley and Marlow and Ascot. Hampton Court is not far away either> Most of these towns are alongside the river thames (which flows through our village, which is right next to Runneymede where the Magna Carta was signed). Driving yourself is a big plus because the local transport system is not fantastic. Although trains and buses are nearby.

We are both outgoing professional people. We love travelling both at home and abroad. Most of our free time is spend socialising in and around london with friends. We love the theatre dining out. We often drive down to Brighton on the South Coast (driving is only an hour or so - Brighton is lovely and is often referred to as London-on-sea). Neither of us are good on the language front apart from a little french. We can be flexible with the right mutally benefical arrangements.
