About our home

3 bed house, family home, front and back garden with decking and patio (ideal for BBQ's). Large living room , kitchen and dining area and toy room downstairs. 2 child bedrooms upstairs (singles) and 1 double. Upstairs bathroom includes seperate shower and bath.

Great area, siutated on the border of the town (Strabane) in a quiet estate with friendly neighbours. Family live very close by (1 minute walk!!, so able to assist with settling in, local info and any unforseen problems). The town is well serviced with local taxi's and busy buses and is about30 minutes from a mainline railway station and City of Derry Airport (links to London Stansted via Ryan Air. we have acheived cheap flights to London for only £20 return, great for a day trip or an overnight stay).

Strabane boasts a regional theatre, a national greyhound race track (great for a night out in a state of the art, multi millon new stadium, 30 minutes from L'Derry featuring major shops, the historic Derry City Walls, river foyle boat trips, major theatre and museums. Also only 3 minutes from Omagh, which has great shopping and places to visit. Drive pass Omagh and you head into Fermanagh and the wonderful lakes (around 1 -1.5 drive) and great B&Bs, resturants and pure relaxation.

Belfast is about 2 hours away by car/bus, Belfast is well worth a visit with major tourist attractions including The Belfast Opera House, The Crown Bar (Victoria Street, great Guinness), shops, clubs, museums and a place full of history. Our house is ony 2 minutes drive from the Donegal/Republic Border, with great access to the wonderful Donegal countryside, beaches, relgious sites, irish pubs with warm turf fires, who could ask for more!!!!

Professional couple with two young children. Claire is a teacher and Nathan is in marketing.
