About our home

THIS IS OUR MAIN HOME. WE HAVE TRIPS PLANNED THIS YEAR AND WE ARE NOT LOOKING FOR FURTHER LONG EXCHANGES THIS YEAR ALTHOUGH WILL CONSIDER SHORT WEEKEND STAYS.

The house is on 3 levels, with original marble fireplaces in most rooms, some stained glass and painted internal windows, and Victorian tiled entrance hall. There are two large reception rooms, 3 double bedrooms (one double, two king size UK), bathroom with large bath, shower and wc, ,a separate shower room with wc and a large kitchen/diner opening onto the terrace and rear sunny garden/. The terrace has a table and chairs for 6, and a gas barbecue. Because the house is on 3 levels, it isn't really suitable for very small children. And we have two lovely black cats who need feeding and some tlc.

We are in an area called Stroud Green, and the nearest underground station is Finsbury Park, as well as overground station to the city at the end of the street. There is fast public transport links to all London airports and central London, as well as excellent bus connections. There is a small supermarket within 5 minutes walk, several gastro-pubs, restaurants, and nearby Crouch End, with many cafes, restaurants, boutiques and supermarkets is just 5 minutes by car, or 15 minutes walk. There are several parks in the area and the 320 hectares of Hampstead Heath is a bus ride away, with wonderful walks and London views from Parliament Hill.
