About our home

We moved into 'Timbers' five years ago. Our road (The Gallop) was used by the Earl of Derby (of Epsom fame) for exercising his horses. Large houses, tree-lined verges, quiet, lots of birdsong. We have redecorated and refurbished throughout (the kitchen is due its treatment in April 2012) in keeping with its 1920s origins. We have a pool table in the smaller garage and a trampoline at the rear of the garden. Efficient WiFi, 'freeview' TV (not cable, but plenty of channels!), a Wii... Wimbledon, Epsom Downs and Box Hill (of Jane Austen fame) are a short drive away. We are a 5 minute bus ride from Sutton station, which is 25 mins from London Victoria. From there, anywhere in London (including Buck. palace, the National and Tate galleries, Science, British, Natural History and V&A museums etc) is easily accessible in 5 to c.20 mins.
