“Charlotte and Andrew’s stunning child-friendly English Heritage home was an incredible holiday paradise for our family. Guests to Sparks Hall will be charmed by the fact that it is tucked away in a quiet residential lane from where you can explore on foot the beautiful Kentish countryside. The love and passion Charlotte and Andrew have put into Sparks Hall and all its details is incredible and we shall forever be grateful to Charlotte and Andrew for having shared a piece of their paradise with us. Sparks Hall is equipped with everything you need for a carefree family holiday, not to mention a dreamy kitchen, which made living and noshing with our children a real pleasure. Sparks Hall was also a little toy paradise for our daughters. Our girls spent hours enjoying their “new” toys and always managed to find something new and different with which to play. We cannot say enough about how happy we were with the warm, loving and comfortable home Charlotte and Andrew have created for their young family and the ease with which the entire trip ran. We should also note that Charlotte and Andrew were delightful, always available to answer any questions which arose, making us feel welcome every step of the way. Charlotte and Andrew, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for allowing us to stay in your warm, gorgeous and comfy home and letting us have a truly unforgettable LHS experience! We look forward to the opportunity of returning the hospitality in our home near the Costa Brava. With all our friendship and gratitude, Luigi & Kasia”

Where is it?
Our village Sutton Valence is well placed for lots of attractions nearby. We are fairly central in Kent, which means we are only about 40-50 minutes drive from the seaside towns on the north, east and south of the county.
Leeds Castle is only 10 minutes drive from our home, and within 50 minutes drive there are plenty of other similarly historical landmarks such as Hever Castle, Knole, Penshurst Place, Sissinghurst etc. And for those interested in gardens there are a phenomenal number of open gardens in the NGS scheme each year in Kent. You can virtually visit a garden a day if you are so inclined. Begebury Pinetum is a 30 minute drive and well worth a visit for people with or without children. If you have children they will love the network of playgrounds all linked by walking or bike tracks. There are also mountain bike trails as well as lovely walks.
Nearby we have Tenterden (20 mins), Cranbrook (20 mins) and Tunbridge Wells (40 mins) which are all very picturesque towns with lovely shops, cafes and restaurants.
