About our home

We live in a beautiful leafy street, moments from Bushy Park and historic Hampton Court Palace and about 20 minutes drive from central London. There is a station at one end of road and the park is at the other. Trains run every ten minutes and go direct to Waterloo. The quirky high street is full of cafes, restaurants and independent shops (it was shortlisted for Britain's Best High Street Award last year.) The River Thames is minutes away and there are, numerous beautiful bicycle routes along the river to Richmond and through the park to The Palace. We have a large kitchen/family room, living room, five bedrooms, two bathrooms and a large garden with trampoline and climbing frame . There are two swimming pools nearby, including an open air lido which is heated all year round.

Where is it?

Buzzy restaurants
Cantanapoli is our favoutite Italian family run pizza restaurant - our favourite order? The foot-long marguerita ! There is also Pizza Express, Nando's, Bar Estillo and Red Peppers which does the best children's meals complete with balloon and goodie bag.
Cool bars
Numerous pubs - The Adelaide is round the corner, The Railway is a short walk and plenty of others on the high street and along the river, most serve food.
Cozy cafés
So many cafes - including Starbucks and Costa, but our favourites are The Coffee Mill on The High Street for scrambled egg breakfasts and The Fallow Deer further on for coffee and cake - dogs and humans welcome
Retail therapy
Kingston is the nearest shopping centre - out of our road and turn left and you're there. It has all the main chains, and blessed John Lewis which we love.
Bit of culture
The Rose Theatre, cinemas, the entire West End is a train ride away.
Walks in the park
Loads! and deer are plentiful
Spot of exercise
Zumba, Saturday mornings at The Landmark Centre and running in the park - what more do you need?
Day tripping
Ham House, Richmond, Hampton Court, London and its palaces, shops and markets not far away
