About our home

Stunning detached cosy beamed cottage, overlooking Duddon Estuary and sea, in rural village situation. Traditional two story with garden to side and rear. One bathroom with extra separate toilet. Central heating and coal/ log fire. Parking for 3 cars, Supermarket 5mins drive, Restaurant/pubs, 15 mins drive, Broughton in Furness. Amazing walking country, plus all the sights of the lakes .Local train 15mins walk, car required. Modern, c/h, d/g 4 berth caravan available to visit on the coast, 25 miles south of Edinburgh. Bus and train service into the centre of the city.

  1. We are both retired, and our children have left home.

  2. Gordon worked as a Chemist and I taught Food and Textiles.

  3. We enjoy all things outdoors, including canoeing and walking in the Lakes.We take pride in our home being welcoming, cosy and comfortable.
