“Ross was en excellent host and everything went according to plan.”
“A fantastic experience in Thornhill! We had an amazing stay in Ross's house in Thornhill. We stayed with another family of friends, and we both had an amazing time. The house was in a very nice village called Thornhill. The house is right in front of a small convinience store, where we could buy bread, the newspaper and other last minute things. The village also had a small local restaurant, where we had dinner once, and enjoyed an excellent fish and chips and other typical dishes. The house itself was really comfortable for the 7 people we were. The girls had their own room, and the two couples another one for each. The house was spacious, luminous, big, and yet cozy. The kitchen, were we enjoyed almost every day, a lovely dinner, is fully equipped and very practical. The living room is very large, and comfortable, and the bedrooms, each with a bathroom, were just perfect. The location of the house was excellent. It was near very nice small towns and villages that we visited. We had the chance to meet Ross, who showed us aorund the house, and gave us a few recommendations. The house was in perfect conditions, and every detail had been taken care of. Thank you Ross, for making our stay in Scotland so special!”
“Thornhill is such a wonderful, quaint little village and the perfect base to explore St Andrews, Edinburgh, Stirling and all the wonderful attractions within an hour's drive from here. We truly had a WONDERFUL week in Ross's place. The home was very clean, stylish, warm and comfortable. It looks exactly like we pictured and better. We made such good memories around the fire in the cozy living room as well as around the large kitchen table. The kitchen is truly the heart of this home. The kitchen equipment and appliances were brand new and top quality. On the 2nd day, we thought of the Village store right across the road as our own personal pantry. Such a joy! The 6 bedrooms, beds, linen and bathrooms were five star and worked perfectly for the four couples in our group. Good food and service at The Lion and Unicorn Pub down the road and scenery around the village is something to experience. Ross was an excellent host and very easy to communicate with. We will stay here whenever we visit Scotland again. I can recommend this swap to anyone. ”
“This property in Thornhill was the grand finale to our UK adventure. The beautiful pictures do not do the home justice. It is a warm, inviting, spacious place that you must visit if you are looking into Scotland. The village is picture perfect, with the store right across the street. It is the perfect location between Edinburgh and Glasgow. There are so many great locations within an hours drive or less, our 8 day stay was not nearly long enough. Ross was a gracious host, and very attentive. You can tell how much love has gone, and continues to be poured into, this fabulous house. We hope to stay here again, at our earliest convenience. ”
