About our home

Our house was built in 2012/2012 in the heart of the Trossachs. The house is surrounded by farmland and has views all round. We are half a mile from the village of Thornhill which has two pubs and a village shop. There is a market in Thornhill once a week. We are 4 miles from Port of Menteith where the only lake in Scotland is. There is a lovely waterfront restaurant and Nick Nairn cook school in Port of Menteith. We have two young children so the house is very family friendly. The house is stone with large glass windows and balconies to enjoy the views. We also have a small traditional fishermans cottage in the west coast of Scotland next to a beach, harbour and golf which may also be available to use. It is 3 hours drive from the house.

Features

More about us

  1. We are a couple with a 3 year old and a 1 year old.

  2. Grant works in the oil industry and Gayle is a housewife

  3. We love to enjoy the scenery around our home and therefore designed our house to have full length windows all round. We also enjoy cozy nights in front of he fire so have an open fire and a wood burning stove.
